Teaching Style: Music, Moving, Dancing, and Creative


Page Sieffert founded The Pilates Room in 2001.  She fell in love with dance at an early age, studying with Joffrey Ballet and Pacific Northwest Ballet Company. While dancing she practiced Pilates and received massages to avoid injury and maintain balance in her body. The positive impact of those therapies on her body led her to study massage and Pilates, of which she has been a practitioner for over twelve years. Over the years her work and love of adventure has given her the opportunity to travel the world teaching Pilates to high profile, celebrity clientele.


Page has also received yoga certifications for Ashtanga and Hatha yoga. Through her yoga practice she was introduced to Ayurveda (the science of life), an eastern medicine tradition based in India. Page moved to New Mexico for a year to study with one of the foremost teachers of Indian medicine, Dr.Lad. She recently finished a year of nursing school, but opportunities to create a Pilates studio in Nosara Costa Rica, her second home, has changed her direction.


The adventure continues . . . In 2011, Page will be moving to her home in Nosara, Costa Rica. She will partner with the Heart of Guiones Wellness Center, steps from Playa Guiones beach. Page is thrilled to announce the opening of a fully-equipped Pilates training center, Pilates Nosara. She is now on the faculty of Balanced Body and will represent this incredible company in Costa Rica for teacher trainings. The studio will offer daily mat and reformer classes, retreats, a space for teachers to host their own retreats, salsa lessons, a variety of dance classes, and much more out of a new location in her second home - Costa Rica!
