Celi Franke hails from Sao Paulo, Brazil, where she graduated in Physicaltherapy from Universidade Cidade de Sao Paulo in 1995,with thesis on hydrotherapy as an alternative treatment of lowback pain during pregnancy.

In 1996, Celi graduated in Massage therapy in California with extensive educations
on various fields: herbology, acupressure, pregnancy massage, sports massage, deep tissue, reflexology, lymphatic drainage, thai massage, lomi-lomi, cranial-sacral release, side-lying technique, shiatsu (workshops) , spa/facial masage, and LA STONE massage.

Celi continued her education in mind-body movement with certifications in the following; The Pilates method with Maria Leone and the Physical Mind Institute 2002, Hatha Yoga within Sacred Movement School for Yoga and Healing with Max Strom , Saul David Raye, Shiva Rea and Sherry Brourman 2004, and Prenatal Yoga Teacher Training with Shiva Rea 2007.

Celi has worked from 1997 to 2001 at Coastline chiropractic in Manhattan Beach, from 2000 to 2008 at Trilogy Spa in Hermosa Beach, and from 2002 until present at The Pilates Room and Yoga Lounge.
